Introduction: Steve Paul Jobs was born on February 24, 1955. He was raised by adoptive parents, Paul and Lara in Mountain View. With his father being a mechanist, he developed an early interest in electronics. After several years, his family moved to Los Altos, California, where he joined Homestead High school. When Jobs was a freshman in high school, William Hewlett, co-founder of the Hewlett-Packard Company5 (HP) offered him a summer job at the HP plant. It was there, that he met the 18 year old, college drop-out Steve Wozniak who was working at HP producing calculators. Jobs helped Wozniak to sell his 'blue box', an illegal pocket-size telephone attachment developed by Wozniak to allow the user to make free long-distance calls. He also worked on improving his entrepreneurial skills, selling and repairing stereos throughout his high school career, in addition to his job at the plant.

In 1972, Jobs graduated from high school and went to Reed College in Portland, Oregon. After the first semester, he dropped out of the college due to his pranks6, but involved himself in philosophy and counterculture7.In 1974, Jobs started working as a video game designer for Atari, Inc8.,a pioneer in electronic arcade recreation. After working for several months and saving his money, he went to India with a friend in search of spiritual enlightenment. When he returned from India, Jobs started attending weekly meetings at Wozniak's Homebrew Computer Club9. As both had keen interest in electronic products, they decided to work together.
